Revolution Tour Arrives in Mammoth

Mammoth Mountain, CA – The 2016 U.S. Revolution Tour continues through Sunday with the second stop at Mammoth Mountain. A premier contest tour for the next generation of freestyle skiers and snowboarders, the Rev Tour serves to bridge the gap between grassroots competitions and the elite-level professional comps. American Olympians such as Sage Kotsenburg, Maddie Bowman and Kaitlyn Farrington all furthered their competitive careers with success on the Rev Tour.

At the second of four stops on the tour, Mammoth Mountain will play host to big air, halfpipe and slopestyle competitions for both skiers and snowboarders. Future Olympic hopefuls will compete in Mammoth’s 22-foot superpipe and on the features of Mammoth’s Unbound Terrain Park. The Revolution Tour is an International Ski Federation (FIS)-sanctioned event, offering amateur athletes a chance to earn valuable points: skiers will earn points on the Association of Freeskiing Professionals Tour (AFP) while snowboarders will earn points on the World Snowboard Tour (WST).
