North Vancouver (BC), Canada – Celebrate B.C.’s fourth Family Day tomorrow with Mt Seymour.
This year, Mt. Seymour is celebrating the holiday with a 50% discount off the regular Family Day Area Pass and 50% off Children’s Passes. This includes the use of the downhill skiing and snowboarding area, as well as tobogganing – saving a family up to $74 for a whole day.
“We are happy to support Family Day and be able to offer guests a special experience together with all their loved ones,” says Eddie Wood, General Manager of Mt. Seymour Resorts. “We are a family resort first and foremost, and want to make sure everyone can have an amazing day up here and enjoy the fabulous snow and sunshine.”
“Family Day is all about helping families find that work-life balance by spending the day together,” said Jane Thornthwaite, MLA for North Vancouver-Seymour. “This is a great opportunity for families throughout the North Shore to rediscover all that Mt. Seymour has to offer. From skiing and snowboarding to volleyball and tobogganing, the mountain is the perfect place to spend the day with those who matter most.”
Family Day, established in 2013, is an annual statutory holiday that came to life in B.C. through Thornthwaite’s help. For Family Day 2016 she will join Mt. Seymour to welcome guests and, along with Wood, open the resort’s Mystery chairlift.
