Fernie (BC), Canada – Kokanee Snow Dreams, set for Jan. 21, is Fernie Alpine Resort’s annual celebration of all things snow.

Traditionally the Fernie Griz, the legend credited with bringing the epic snow to this interior British Columbia ski resort year after year, rewards the celebration with fresh snow.

Start the day with the Lizard Skinner Ski Mountaineering Race, a fun race open to all levels and ages. join in on a fun ski mountaineering race (open to all levels and ages).  With two courses — recreational and intermediate — anyone can have a good time while engaging in some friendly competition. Touring or telemark ski gear, or a splitboard is recommended, along with climbing skins.

Then, after tackling the slopes in the morning join everyone for an after-hours party in the in the Legendary Griz Bar, hosted by an exclusive Snowdreams DJ.
