Snowbasin Holds Winter Carnival This Saturday

Huntsville, UT – Northern Utah’s Snowbasin Resort will host a Winter Carnival this Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017.  The day will be filled with family friendly activities, and end with a rare evening of night skiing on Snowbasin’s slopes and fireworks.

Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017

  • 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.: There will be a social media scavenger hunt all around the mountain with prizes.
  • 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.: Magical Celebrations will be performing Princess Shows and Star Wars shows every hour followed with meet-and-greets with the characters in Earl’s Lodge.
  • 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.: The Australian Aerialist Ski Team known as The Flying Kangaroos will be signing autographs on Earl’s Plaza.
  • 1 -6 p.m.: There will be face painting, balloon making and a magician on Earl’s Plaza.
  • 2-4 p.m.: The PreTeens can vie for first place with the fastest time on the mini cross course on Little Cat. Winners will be announced on the plaza at 4:30 p.m.
  • 3:30-6 p.m.: There is free live après music from The Outer Vibe in the Cinnabar. Tap Takeover featuring Epic Brewing Co will be on Earl’s Plaza throughout all the festivities.
  • 4-5 p.m.: Free cookie decorating in the Learning Center.
  • 4-6:30 p.m.: Night Skiing on Little Cat.
  • 4:30-6:30 p.m.: Free Safety Coloring Station in Earl’s Lodge
  • 5:30-6:30 p.m.: Free S’mores on the Plaza.
  • 6:45 p.m.: Fireworks
