Warren, VT – Sugarbush and area restaurant Chez Henri are hosting a birthday celebration for Chez Henri owner Henri Borel tomorrow and Saturday. The restaurant, which Borel opened in 1964 in Historic Sugarbush Village, has had a longstanding reputation for its French cuisine, alluring après scene, and warm hospitality.
The celebration starts with an on-snow race on the NASTAR course on Racer’s Edge at Lincoln Peak from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Prizes will be handed out for best time, best French fashion, and best imitation of Henri. All proceeds from the race will be donated to the Warren Fire Department. Starting at 3 p.m., Timbers Restaurant will host a birthday après social featuring French wines and champagnes by the glass. All are invited to attend.
On Saturday, the birthday celebration continues in the Back Room at Chez Henri with 70’s dance music, a birthday cake, cash bar, and a birthday toast from Borel’s friends and family. Again, all are welcome.
Chez Henri will be open for dining throughout the weekend for lunch, dinner, and après.
