Rentals are available for only C$10. If your legs need a break, head down to the Happy Valley skating rink from 5 to 6:30 p.m. for a free bonfire and hot chocolate.

If Silver Star in Vernon, British Columbia is your destination, C$5 night skiing gets underway with a bang as the fireworks light up the night sky at 7 p.m. tonight. Plus, Silver Star also features a C$5 dinner special at the Town Hall and C$5 gets you three laps and Mini Sleds at Tube Town. If you can’t make it tonight, Silver Star offers $5 night skiing every Saturday, too.
