Go Big – Safely!

Snowbird, UT – Ask some of Utah’s top pro skiers questions, pick up some cool swag and learn more about common ski injuries and prevention strategies at the free “Go Big – Safely!” gathering set for Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort this Wednesday.

The free event begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Cliff Ballroom, accessible via Snowbird Entry 4 in Little Cottonwood Canyon. Pro skiers Julian Carr, Jen Hudak, Jeremy Nobis, Jamie Pierre, Cody Barnhill and Grete Eliassen will be on hand to talk about how to take on Utah’s big mountain terrain in a safe and responsible manner. Mark D. Scholl, MD, orthopedic surgeon and U.S. Ski Team, USA Rugby and Solitude Mountain Resort team doctor, will be on hand to discuss how to avoid common ski injuries, and a backcountry expert from the Utah Avalanche Center will introduce attendees to avalanche and backcountry safety skills.
