Henniker, NH – New Hampshire’s Pats Peak ski area will host the American Cancer Society’s annual Hope on the Slopes event on Sunday, Feb. 13. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and the event starts at 8:00 a.m. with opening ceremonies and skiing and snowboarding beginning at 8:30 a.m.nHope on the Slopes is a great way to raise money to fight cancer. Participants enjoy a day of fun, exercise, and camaraderie, while honoring someone they love whom this disease has affected. Whether you’re a recreational skier, a snowboarder, a downhill racer, a tubing enthusiast, or just want to help in the fight against cancer, you can join this worthwhile event.
Participants gather donations from friends and family and enjoy a fun-filled day on the slopes. A $35 registration fee ($15 for Pats Peak Season Pass Holders) and a minimum of $100 raised per participant includes a full-day lift or tubing ticket. Raise $150 to compete in the Vertical Challenge and raise $500 to be eligible to win a 2011-12 Pats Peak season pass.
