Intrawest Moving Head Offices to Colorado

Vancouver (BC), Canada – An internal memo authored by CEO Bill Jensen and circulated through ski resort operator Intrawest’s headquarters in Vancouver on Tuesday, and obtained by the Vancouver Sun newspaper, has announced the company’s relocation to Colorado before the end of 2011.nWith two of its largest resorts in Colorado, Winter Park and Steamboat, Jensen said that the move will bring Intrawest’s head offices closer to its core business. The company’s senior management team, real estate group and legal, human resources, information technology, strategic planning, accounting, finance and treasury functions will all make the move to the U.S. Club Intrawest and the Intrawest Resort Club Group will remain in Vancouver.
