Kamloops (BC), Canada – WestJet Airlines is fine tuning their schedule and changing the arrival and departure times of the company’s Calgary-Kamloops flight to make it easier for skiers and riders to reach the B.C. Interior.nThe new schedule will have the flight arriving in Kamloops from Calgary at 7:35 p.m., and departing Kamloops back to Calgary at 7:00 a.m. This makes it more convenient for those traveling to the region’s ski resorts like Sun Peaks to make their connections.
“The morning departure means that Sun Peaks Resort guests can connect in Calgary to any flights, especially those eastbound connections,” said Christopher Nicolson, President of Tourism Sun Peaks. “Likewise, the evening arrival means we can now collect guests through connections from more cities, both north and south of the border.”
The flight schedule changes, however, won’t be implemented until May 1, 2011, leaving the new, more convenient times for next season’s skiers and riders.
