Crystal Mountain, WA – A 67-year-old man has died two days after falling while skiing through Crystal Mountain Resort’s terrain park.nDon Burkhart, of Olalla in Kitsap County, Washington, who held a season pass at the resort, was skiing through the park last Wednesday with his wife and a family member when he fell descending a table top. A nearby patroller was on the scene within 30 seconds of the incident and began CPR.

News reports indicate that Burkhart suffered a spinal cord injury in the mishap and was immediately paralyzed from the jaw down. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where he died on Friday, officials have confirmed.
