Ludlow, VT – An unidentified 42-year-old man and his 3-year-old son both fell out of a chairlift at Okemo Mountain Resort in Vermont on Feb. 19.nThe two were riding the ski area’s Coleman Brook chairlift when the boy fell first, followed by his father in an attempt to prevent the boy’s fall. Both fell approximately 20 feet to the ground.
The two were attended to by Okemo ski patrol and transported to Springfield Hospital in Springfield, Vt., before being transferred to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H., the region’s level 1 trauma unit. Their conditions are unknown at this time.
