Alta, UT – Salomon North America is wrapping up the nation-spanning road trip launch of its new BBR ski in style. For the past four months, the Shape Your Adventure Tour has cruised across the country and back, offering opportunities for retailers and skiers to test Salomon’s latest challenge to conventional wisdom in alpine skiing. Now, after visiting approximately 50 ski areas, the Tour is headed back to Salomon USA’s home turf in Utah for the “BBR Tour Finale Wrap Party” April 2 at Alta Ski Area.n“It’s been incredible just to get out and reintroduce skiers to the feelings of freedom, adventure and fun that got us started in the sport in the first place,” says Tour Manager Seth Warner. “Just seeing how people react when we show up with a truck full of this ski has been amazing — they’ve loved it. Now it’s time to party and thank the locals for the support!”

The party includes raffling BBR skis, Rocker2 skis and Alta season passes. When skiers demo a BBR ski, they’ll get food and beverage vouchers as well as entry into the Salomon Snow Games, featuring on-snow volleyball, tug-of-war and three-legged races. The event will also include live music and appearances by Salomon pro athletes, including local skier Jamey Parks.

It all takes place from 9:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. in the Wildcat Base Area at Alta. Look for the Salomon BBR trailer and tents.
