Boreal Reopening for One More Day of Skiing, Riding

Donner Summit, CA – Californians, dig into your garage  and break out your skis and snowboards, for Boreal ski area on Donner Summit is reopening for one day of snow fun under the summer sun.  Thanks to the 800 inches of snowfall resort officials reported this season, Boreal still has a ton of snow left on the mountain for you to shred.

To celebrate the announcement of Woodward Tahoe, Boreal will open its Castle Peak Quad chairlift to access one run with one terrain park this Saturday.  Skiers and riders will be able to jump and jib under the summer sun from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.  Lift tickets will be priced at $25 for teens/adults (ages 13+) and $15 for children (ages 5-12).  2011-12 season passes will be accepted and are available for purchase online or in person at the season pass desk on July 23rd. Rentals, retail, food and beverages will be available inside the lodge.
