Denver, CO – With September comes a change of seasons. As summer wanes and autumn approaches, the ski season can’t be far behind.

Mountain peaks around Colorado showed evidence of the coming ski season on Wednesday including low clouds, cooler temperatures and snow on upper elevations. Here’s a sampling of images from around Colorado ski country this week.
