Silverton, CO –Are you craving steeps, corn, spring weather and a big mountain experience?
Colorado’s Silverton ski area, which offers only guided skiing during the core months of the winter season, will reopen its mountain to unguided guests ahead of schedule this Sunday, April 1. The mountain is presently 100 percent open, and unguided skiing costs $49 per lift ticket, substantially less than its guided price of $99-139.
Silverton’s unguided season will continue thereafter April 5th to 8th and again April 12th to 15th, Silverton’s final week of the 2011-12 ski and snowboard season.
