DPS Skis Hires Charlotte Ljungquist to Manage European Operations

Salt Lake City, UT – Salt Lake City’s DPS Skis has announced that Charlotte Ljungquist will join the company as managing director of Europe, reporting to DPS President Stephan Drake.

Ljungquist’s hiring coincides with the implementation of a European distribution facility new for the 2012-13 season, enlisted to mitigate shipping costs for European customers and dealers, while expediting order fulfillment time.

“Europe is a critical market with passionate skiers. DPS’ European growth has been strong over the last few years, and now is the time to take it another level,” said Drake. “With Charlotte’s passion for skiing and her diverse management expertise, we’re thrilled to have her continue to grow DPS’ presence throughout Europe.”

Before becoming systems director at EF Education First, Ljungquist held positions as their sales manager, director of publications, and publications manager. She is a graduate of School of Business, Economics, and Law at the University of Gothenburg.
