Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The acquisition of Alpine Valley, celebrating its 51st ski season this winter, represents the company’s second ski area in Ohio, as it also operates Boston Mills/Brandywine in the greater Cleveland area. Alpine Valley offers skiing and riding day and night on 11 slopes and trails with 230 feet of vertical drop. One quad chair, one double chair, one J-bar and four tows provide uphill transport.

“Alpine Valley fits strategically with how we are trying to grow our business in a market that we are familiar with,” said Jesse Boyd, vice president of Peak Resorts. “We feel the resort has been well maintained, and has a lot of potential. We look forward to the close integration of the resort with Boston Mills and Brandywine resorts.”
