Club Med Debuts New Ski Resort in the Italian Alps

Pragelato, Italy – Opening just in time for the holidays, Club Med has introduced the newest addition to their mountain resorts, Pragelato Vialattea, featuring ski-in ski-out access to the second largest ski domain in Europe.

Located in the heart of the Piedmont region in the Italian Alps only 55 miles from the city of Turin, Pragelato Vialattea is a unique type of mountain experience with charming clusters of chalets in an authentic setting. Guests of Pragelato Vialattea enjoy Club Med’s all-inclusive program where everything is included in one price, even ski lift tickets. Gourmet Italian cuisine prepared by international chefs is served throughout the day at one of the three specialty restaurants, and a full open bar with premium alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accompanies nightly entertainment every evening.

At Pragelato Vialattea, winter sports lovers enjoy downhill skiing and snowboarding lessons available for all levels through Club Med’s unique partnership with the Italian Ski School. Skiing at Club Med Pragelato Vialattea accommodates every level of skier with 240 miles of ski slopes (244 slopes including 42 black, 118 red, 54 blue and 30 green slopes including 24 miles of cross country slopes) located between 4,450 and 9,250 feet of altitude, with 92 ski lifts and six terrain parks.

For non-skiers who wish to discover the mountain in a different way, Pragelato Vialattea offers alternative activities such as hiking, snowshoe outings or even Nordic walking. During the summer, guests can enjoy fun outdoor activities with the family including golfing, mountain biking or hiking.

Pragelato Vialattea offers activities for children from two to 17 years old through Petit Club Med, Mini Club Med and Junior Club Med. A Snow Garden has been created for children four years old and up to safely discover snow sports with courses around figurines and hoops. As part of Mini Club Med, “Happy Nature Box” invites children ages four to 10 years old to discover nature through music, meditation and exploration of the Club Med grounds.

Pragelato Vialattea also boasts a full-service Club Med Spa by PAYOT. The dedicated wellness area has seven multipurpose treatment rooms, a couple’s treatment room, Turkish bath, sauna and an indoor heated pool, perfect for relaxing after a long day on the slopes.
