Hidden Valley, PA – An unidentified 15-year-old boy from Sleepy Hollow, N.Y., was injured on Saturday evening when he fell about 20 feet from a chairlift at Hidden Valley ski resort in western Pennsylvania.
The victim was riding one of the resort’s two triple chairlifts alone at around 7 p.m. Saturday and was not using the lift’s safety restraint when he leaned forward, presumably to adjust his gear, and fell from the chair.
The boy was taken to nearby Somerset Hospital for evaluation.
