New York, NY – Alpine ski racer Lindsey Vonn has apparently found a way to earn a little extra money while recovering from knee surgery.
Vonn is the new pitch person for Tweezerman, a brand of beauty tools for brows, lashes, face, manicure and pedicure. As part of the deal, she will participate in various marketing activities for the company throughout the year, including Tweezerman’s first television commercial and a digital marketing campaign. The company has even set up a microsite on its own website to focus on “some of Lindsey’s favorite Tweezerman items.”
“I am very excited about the cooperation with Tweezerman because when it comes to beauty tools, Tweezerman is my only choice,” a company press release quoted Vonn as saying. “In my profession, preparation, precision and performance are everything and I need top quality precision tools to get me to the finish line on and off the slopes.”
“Our very first commercial featuring Lindsey Vonn perfectly embodies what we are all about: preparation, precision and performance,” Dr. Conny Wittke, the CEO and President of Tweezerman International, added about his company’s relationship with the “most decorated” alpine skier in American history.
