Park City Mountain Resort Celebrates the Spring Season With New Programs and Events

Park City, UT – Park City Mountain Resort is preparing for a big spring season with a host of events, concerts and specialized instruction camps over the ski and snowboard season’s final two months.

A loaded spring event schedule includes the return of the Helly Hansen Big Mountain Battle on March 2; Snowasis in the Snow – a full week of family-oriented on-mountain events including a Kids Carnival & Parade, an avalanche dogs meet and greet and Easter Celebration – March 25–31; and weekly après concerts throughout the month of March.

The  “I Ride Park City” freestyle camp – the resort’s terrain park-centered instruction camp for intermediate level skiers and snowboarders ages 9-15 – holds its second session of 2013 on February 20-22 before beginning its spring rotation of March 12-14, 19-21, 26-28 and April 2-4. “I Ride” campers develop terrain park and freeride skills with the same coach and group over the three-day camp, shooting each other with GoPro cameras and working together to make a digital video edit of their camp experience that they leave the camp with.

Female guests can watch their skills blossom, and build lasting friendships, when they ride with coaches who understand the specifics of women’s technique and movements with Park City Mountain Resort’s women’s ski and snowboard camps. Participants spend the entire three-day camp with the same coach and group, including a breakfast on Day #1 and an après function on the last day. Separate camps for skiing and snowboarding are offered March 1-3.

Over 160 inches of snow have already fallen this season but, with so much on the spring calendar, the snow is just one of the reasons to discover Park City Mountain Resort this spring.
