Pittsfield, MA – A 10-year-old boy fell from a chairlift at Bousquet ski area in Pittsfield on Wednesday morning.

The boy from Framingham, Mass., whose name was not released, had just loaded the lift by himself when the incident occurred at around 10 a.m. on Wednesday,according to a story in the Berkshire Eagle. He was taken to Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield with complaints of shoulder and hip pain.

The boy reportedly slipped from the seat and held onto the chair for a period of time before falling onto his feet. His current condition is unknown.
