Quebec’s Mont-Sainte-Anne Plans Activities Around Fall Foliage

Beaupré (QC), Canada – From September 21 to October 14, Mont-Sainte-Anne offers its Great Colour Adventure. Scheduled over four weekends, the Quebec ski resort is offering a variety of special activities and events including various sporting challenges for all ages, gourmet tastes, exclusive camping at the top of the mountain and a multitude of family activities in addition to the normal offerings including downhill and cross-country mountain biking, gondola rides, hiking , disc golf and even paragliding.

To coincide with the event Mont-Sainte-Anne’s reservations office has created the Little Adventure Package, combining one night’s lodging at the Chateau Mont-Sainte-Anne or Chalets Montmorency, a gondola ride and access to hiking and the resort’s disc golf course for the whole family. Highlights of Mont-Sainte-Anne’s Great Colour Adventure weekends include:

  • The Breakfast Buffet at the Top – Every Sunday (September 22 and 29, and October 6 and 13)
  • Camping at the summit – On September 21, Mont-Sainte-Anne will open its summit to campers, the only time that it does all year. Music and entertainment is provided on-site.
  • The Vikings Challenge – An extreme obstacle race held on September 22.
  • A friendly race for all ages on September 28
  • An introduction to unicycling on September 28
  • The Vel0-BambinoA cycling event for those 10 and under on September 28. Sign in at 9 a.m.
  • The Trotter bike event – This one is for adults, also on September 28. Registration opens at 9 a.m. with the race scheduled for 10 a.m. The Cani-Cross Race held the same day is a friendly race for dogs and their masters.
  • The DH Series for downhill mountain biking enthusiasts begins at 4 p.m. on September 28.
  • Oktoberfest – Sausages, sauerkraut and beer will be served October 5-6. Also on October 5 a 10km running race is open to all.
  • Pumpkin Hunt – Choose your favorite pumpkin and decorate it at the base of the mountain on October 12. Kids wearing costumes earn a chance to win special prizes in a contest beginning at 9:30 a.m. Make-up for kids, a farmhouse and trampoline will also be on site.
  • Yoga Session – At the Chalet de la Crête by Lolë at 1 p.m. on October 12.
