Coronet Peak and The Remarkables Offer Free Rental Equipment to Spring Skiers

Queenstown, New Zealand – As further enticement to enjoy the slopes during the spring season, Coronet Peak and The Remarkables in Queenstown are offering guests two days of recreational ski and snowboard rental equipment free when they purchase two-day lift passes.

Rental equipment includes recreational skis or snowboard, boots, poles and an outdoor jacket and pants, if required. This represents a saving of up to NZ $165.

“With recent snowfalls on both mountains, we wanted to give everyone as much of an opportunity to experience the fantastic conditions we have at Coronet Peak and The Remarkables,” said NZSki General Manager Sales and Marketing, Craig Douglas. “We recognize that a lot of people would like to try out skiing or snowboarding but for various reasons they cannot get together the gear required. By having a spring offer like this we hope to encourage those who’ve been thinking about a day or two on the mountain to come up.”

The offer is available until the end of the 2013 season, scheduled for Sept. 29 at The Remarkables and Oct. 6 at Coronet Peak. Two-day adult, youth, student or senior lift passes must be purchased in the same transaction at the Snow Centre in Queenstown or at Guest Services on the mountain, and the two days of rental equipment must be used in conjunction with using each day lift pass. The passes can be used any time during the season.
