Aspen Skiing Company Donates to Colorado Flood Relief

Aspen, CO – The floods that devastated the the Boulder, Colo. area in September ravaged businesses, families and entire towns. In an effort to help its neighbors, the Aspen Skiing Company (ASC) will be donating $10 from the sale of every pass at the Boulder Classic Pass sale on October 19 and 20.

The Boulder sale typically generates about 500 pass sales and ASC expects to donate $5,000 as a result of this commitment. The funds will be donated directly to Foothills Flood Relief Fund. Funds collected will be used for short and long term health and human service needs related to the flooding.

A Classic Pass sale will also take place this Saturday and Sunday at Summit Canyon Mountaineering at 732 Grand Avenue in Glenwood Springs. Classic Pass sales, which provide either four or seven days of unrestricted skiing and riding at Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Snowmass and Buttermilk at discounted rates, will take place throughout October and November.  Class Passes are sold in person only.
