Denver, CO – Ski Utah is taking the fight directly to the enemy.

The marketing arm of the Utah Ski and Snowboard Association, which represents the state’s 14 ski resorts and numerous ancillary businesses, is headed to Denver to show Coloradans what Utah’s “Greatest Snow on Earth” is all about. For the first time ever, Ski Utah and its member resorts are attending the Colorado Ski & Snowboard Expo taking place this weekend at the Colorado Convention Center.

To “prove that the only thing dry in Utah is the powder,” the Ski Utah booth is hosting a Beer Pong tournament featuring microbrews from Squatters Brewing in Salt Lake City and Roosters Brewing in Ogden. Expo attendees may join in on the Beer Pong tournaments from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, on Saturday from noon to 7 p.m., and again on Sunday from noon until 5 p.m.

All participants in the tournament will receive a Ski Utah license plate frame and winners will get a choice of cool Utah prizes. The license plate frames include a suggested Colorado vanity plate that says “ISKIUT”.
