Australian Native Dies While Snowboarding at Revelstoke

Revelstoke (BC), Canada – An Australian skiing and believed to have been living in Canada died on Friday at Revelstoke Mountain Resort in British Columbia.

Dale Steward, 27 and originally from Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, was found by passers-by alongside Revelstoke’s advanced Devil’s Club run at around 10 a.m. Friday morning. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

It’s believed that Steward struck his head while descending Devil’s Club. He was reportedly not wearing a helmet.

Steward was reportedly a season pass holder at Revelstoke.
