South Lake Tahoe, CA – Sierra-at-Tahoe is taking it to the court on November 13th for the 3rd Annual Sierra Snowball Fight: A Dodgeball Tournament, at Steamers Bar and Grill in South Lake Tahoe. Using the iconic childhood game, Sierra will reunite snow bunnies and powder hounds at this free event to celebrate the coming of the ski and snowboard season and get into the spirit of winter.
“Sierra is all about taking a break from the hustle of life’s everyday challenges to have some fun, challenge oneself and enjoy being a part of a fun and thriving community,” says the ski resort’s General Manager, John Rice. “By bringing locals, guests and employees together we accomplish the ultimate goal of togetherness.”
The 3rd Annual Sierra Snowball Fight starts at 7 p.m. and all ages are welcome. The grand prize for the winning dodgeball team is worth over $1,000! Individual awards for MVP, Best Smash and Best Threads will stoke the competitive edge. Enjoy live music indoors by the Cash Only Band or groove to spins by DJ MoFunk on the back deck. Steamers Bar and Grill will be serving food and drink specials throughout the event.
If you want to compete in the tournament, round up five friends and start training on the five D’s of dodgeball: dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge. Space is limited, and you can register your team by calling (530) 543-3139. More information is available online at www.sierraattahoe.com/event/sierra-snowball-fight-dodgeball-tournament-0.
