To participate in Sunday River’s annual Santa Sunday, guests were required to pre-register and donate a minimum of $15 to the SRCF, a donor-advised fund housed at the Maine Community Foundation that assists local nonprofit organizations to improve the quality of life in Sunday River’s surrounding community, such as the Bryant Pond Learning Center, the Androscoggin River Watershed Council, and the Bethel Library Association. Each skiing Santa had to wear a Santa suit, complete with hat, beard, coat, belt, and pants.

In addition to being able to give back, participants received a free lift ticket to use for the morning, as well as another lift ticket to use any time before December 18.
