Rangeley, ME – The owners of Maine’s Saddleback ski area say that they’ve agreed to terms with a buyer and are presently finalizing the sale of the resort.

The Berry family, owners of Saddleback, decided against operating the ski resort this season as they searched for a buyer. “The Saddleback transaction is still moving forward!” resort officials posted to Facebook on Friday. “The Berrys and the buyer are in agreement on terms and now it’s just down to finishing the complicated paperwork …so we can all get down to important things like working on the hill!”

Saddleback officials concluded by promising another update next week.
