Denver, CO – It’s only been three weeks since we told you about 10 more ski areas added to the multi-resort M.A.X. pass for 2016-17. Scratch that, you can now call it 16 more resorts, for a total of 38.

Resorts of the Canadian Rockies (RCR) has now come on board with the program. Despite the company’s name, that includes ski areas across Canada from coast to coast, including Fernie, Kicking Horse and Kimberley in B.C., Nakiska in Alberta, and Mont-Sainte-Anne in Stoneham.

“With the addition of RCR’s six resorts, plus resorts added earlier this year, the M.A.X. pass has added a total of 16 new resorts for the upcoming 2016-2017 ski and snowboard season and continues to build on its impressive and diverse pass lineup,” said Tom Marano, CEO of Intrawest, which along with Powdr and Boyne Resorts first created the M.A.X. Pass. “With access to now 38 resorts across North America, The M.A.X. Pass gives skiers and snowboarders unprecedented value and flexibility to go where they want, when they want, throughout the winter season.”

The “Multi-Alpine Experience” pass offers skiers and snowboarders five days at each of the 38 participating resorts, for a total of 190 days on the slopes and no blackout dates. From day trips and ski weekends close to home to ski vacations at destination resorts across North America, the M.A.X. Pass allows winter sports enthusiasts the flexibility to travel to mountains they’ve never visited before.

The M.A.X. Pass is presently sold at www.themaxpass.com at $699 for adults, $499 for teens 13-17, $399 for children 6-12 or $49 for ages 5 and under. Those who already own a qualifying season pass at a participating resort can add M.A.X. Pass benefits for $399 per adult, $299 for teens, and $249 for ages 6-12. Prices will go up again on November 29.
