PHOTOS: Storm Dumps Nearly Three Feet at Mammoth

Mammoth Mountain, CA – Sunday was a legitimate powder day at Mammoth Mountain.

A powerful Sierra storm pasted the California ski resort with 15-34 inches of new snow, and left behind bluebird skies in its wake.

Base depths at Mammoth Mountain are now 18-38 inches. Today the resort is operating seven lifts, serving 23 trails and two terrain parks.
