Mt. Crested Butte, CO – Kick up the tempo at one of Crested Butte Mountain Resort’s live concerts. The CB Unplugged concert series brings national talent into an intimate setting, the Colorado ski resort’s slopeside Butte 66 restaurant. Each free concert features a different artist and their own unique sound during après ski.
On January 21, singer-songwriter Kyle Park is bringing his upbeat, guitar-driven honky-tonk and heartfelt ballads to center stage. His “rock with a twangy” style of music generates a lively and fun show that sure to get the crowd dancing in their boots.
The Indie folk-pop band, Shook Twins, is performing on February 11. Featuring an eclectic style of acoustic and electric instrumentation, plus some inventive percussive and vocal loops, Shook Twins are known for their unique blend of folk, roots, groove and soul.
The final CB Unplugged concert takes place on April 1, as the roots-oriented talent of Hayes Carll steps on stage. Nominated for a 2016 Grammy Award for Best Country Song, Hayes Carll is a singer-songwriter whose works have been noted for the plainspoken poetry and sarcastic humor that is woven into the lyrics.
