Silverton, CO – Timed to coincide with the opening of unguided skiing and snowboarding for the season at nearby Silverton Mountain, Silverton’s own Venture Snowboards is sponsoring a Spring Fling celebration Saturday night at Pride of the West downtown.nThis evening of movies, music and madness will include a screening of Signatures from Sweetgrass Productions as well as TGR’s short film, Generations. Venture will raffle off a custom graphic Protect Our Winters snowboard and other prizes as guests stomp their feet to the musical stylings of Durango favorite, Waiting On Trial.

The Spring Fling gets underway at 8 p.m. this Saturday at Silverton’s Pride of the West, located at 1323 Greene Street. There is no cover charge to attend, but proceeds from the raffle will benefit Protect Our Winters and the Center for Snow and Avalanche Studies.
