Beaupré (QC), Canada – The Olympian Bud Light Fest, part of Mont-Sainte-Anne’s Volkswagen Spring Madness, will take place Saturday at the Quebec ski and snowboard resort, featuring Canadian Olympic mogul skiers Vincent Marquis and Pierre-Alexandre Rousseau taking part in a friendly mogul race open to all.nIn addition to the competition, the resort will prepare smoking BBQs, outdoor hot tubs and live music shows at the base of the mountain.
The race will take place on Mont-Sainte-Anne’s La Soumande run, located on the North side of the mountain. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. in front of the Sports Alpins shop at the base of the ski area for CAN $5. The race will start at 11 a.m. with a dual descent of the Olympians, and from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., they will be available for an autograph session at the terrace on the summit, where BBQs, a DJ and a bar will be set up for the occasion.
The band Bestov will play cover music beginning at 3:30 p.m., following the acoustic cover band Banquette Arrière, which will take the stage at 12:30 p.m.
