Q: Are you a Mets fan?
Demong: Of course! Actually, I like rooting against other peoples teams more than having favorites of my own… Is that bad?
Q: Are you excited? Nervous? What do you think it will be like?
Demong: Well I’m psyched. Hopefully it’ll be a good crowd and I’ll keep the ball in the air and down the middle.
Q: What is your pitching experience, and do you think you will make it across the plate.
Absolutely, zero pitching experience but good snowball fighting skills.
Q: Have you been practicing at all? What is your technique?
Demong: No time to practice!
Q: What is more pressure: A successful pitch, being on the brink of winning the first gold medal for the U.S. in Nordic Combined with 500 feet to the finish line to go?
Demong: Gold medal fever! Any medal for that matter.
