N.H. Ski Resort Adds Zipline Attraction This Summer

Lincoln, NH – In addition to New Hampshire’s longest scenic gondola skyride, horseback riding, glacial caves, and an Adventure Center with bungee trampoline, mountain bike rentals and tours, and a climbing wall, Loon Mountain ski resort will add a zipline attraction to its list of off-season activities this summer.nThe new zip line will open in early July. Starting at Loon’s Adventure Center, located at the base of the mountain, guests will be able to soar from the Adventure Center over the Pemigewasset River, and back again. Other summer activities open this season on June 26.

Also new for this summer, the Loon Adventure Center will have extended hours until 7:00 p.m. from opening day through September 5.

Loon’s four-person bungee trampoline allows four people at once can bounce, flip, flop and jump up to 25 feet in the air.

For those who would rather “mosey” than fly, the Loon Equestrian Center offers one-hour to three-hour trail rides that meander through ski trails and old logging trails. Guides will engage in stories that illustrate the area’s history and local lore. Pony rides are also available for kids younger than eight years. An Adventure Package that includes a trip on the zip line, unlimited bungee jumping and climbing wall, a two-hour mountain bike rental plus the gondola skyride costs $39 for guests 13 and older, and $29 for kids 12 and under. Junior Adventure Packages also include a pony ride. All activities can also be purchased a la carte.
