West Dover, VT – Kelly Clark is heading home to Vermont and this time it’s not for a competition in the halfpipe, it’s to raise money for a cause. The three-time Olympic snowboarder, gold and bronze medalist, and hero to many will be hosting the inaugural Kelly Clark Foundation Golf Tournament at the Mount Snow Golf Club on July 12th.nThe Kelly Clark Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides resources and opportunities to young people hoping to attend mountain schools. It’s a goal very close to Kelly’s heart as she is a graduate of the Mount Snow Academy.
Hosting its first annual charity golf tournament, The Kelly Clark Foundation realizes that the key to success starts with the opportunity to follow your dreams. Through fundraising and private donations, the foundation hopes to give every young person that chance.
The format for the Inaugural Kelly Clark Foundation charity golf tournament is a four-person best ball scramble with tee off at 11:00 a.m. The team entry fee is $500, which includes golf and a dinner reception/awards ceremony at TC’s Family Restaurant, owned by Kelly’s parents Terry and Cathy.
