Lincoln, NH – New Hampshire’s Loon Mountain Resort has announced that the ski area’s new zip line adventure spanning the Pemigewasset River is now open.nRiders soar more than 700 feet across the river, and then ride a separate line to cross back to the Adventure Center. The Loon Zip Line Adventure is unique because of its river crossing, and is the latest addition to the summer adventure and activity offerings at Loon Mountain.
A round trip zip costs $25, and riders must weigh a minimum of 100 lbs. and no more than 250 lbs. Kids 12 or under must meet the weight requirement and be accompanied by a paying adult.
The zip line is also part of the Loon Adventure Package, which also includes the state’s longest scenic gondola sky ride and summit adventures, unlimited climbing wall and bungee trampoline and a two-hour mountain bike rental for $39 (age 13+). There is a junior version of the Adventure Package for ages 6-12 that includes a pony ride, but does not include the zip line, for $25. If the junior meets the zip line weight requirement and accompanying paying adult requirement, the package cost is $29.
