Momentum Ski Camps’ Splashdown Draws Over 500 Spectators at Whistler

Whistler (BC), Canada – Whistler’s Momentum Ski Camps on Tuesday presented “Momentum Splashdown,” a water ramp event featuring pro athletes and campers in Whistler. Twenty athletes launched themselves high into the air for a crowd numbering over 500.n“We had some fun in the sun, jumping into the pool in front of this huge crowd,” said Mike Riddle, pro skier and winner of best jump. “For pro skiers or campers, water ramps are an important tool to help you learn.”

“It was a lot of fun, a good time with good weather, and that’s what this sport’s all about,” says Mike Douglas, judge of the event.

It was a spectacular display of aerial skill from some of North America’s hottest pro skiers with the added entertainment of DJ Foxy Moron and two go-go dancers keeping the crowd stoked as the sun beat down.
