Bolton, VT – “Snow” from a local ice rink will be collected and transported tomorrow to the tennis courts next to the Sports Center at Bolton Valley Resort for park builders to design the features for a jam session beginning at 6 p.m. The event is timed to coincide with the ski resort’s gear liquidation sale.nSkiers and riders will kick out the summer cobwebs on rails during the hour-long jam session. Prizes will be award to the best skiers and riders at the end of the jam as well as a few extra prizes being tossed out to all competitors. Online registration is closed but participants can register on site starting at 5 p.m. Friday. The cost is $10 per person.
Vermont’s largest ski and snowboard sale will be held in the Sports Center at Bolton Valley from Sept. 2-6. Produced in conjunction with The Ski and Snowboard Liquidation Center, a New England company that produces large scale ski and snowboard events, the ski and snowboard sale will include more than $1 million in inventory including products like skis and snowboards starting at $99 and kids snowboards starting at $59. Brands will include skis from Völkl, K2, Dynastar, Atomic, Elan, and Nordica as well as adult snowboards from Burton, Forum, K2, Atomic, and Oxygen. Youth ski packages begin at $99 for used and $199 for new. A large selection of adult and youth clothing and accessories also will be for sale.
Skiers and riders can purchase their Bolton Valley All Access Season Pass at the sale as well, and receive an additional 5% off ski and snowboard sale items by purchasing the pass at the sale. Passes are priced at $499 for adults and $149 youth when purchased with an adult parent’s pass, but the rate will increase after Sept. 20.
Ski and snowboard sale hours are Thursday from 4-8 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m.–8 p.m.; Sunday from 10 a.m.–6 p.m.; and Monday from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. The sale will be held at the Sports Center located at the opposite end of the parking lot from the main base area of the resort.
