Mont-Tremblant (QC), Canada – Teams are forming and donations for sick children are beginning to collect, for online registration for the 10th edition of the Tremblant 24h of Skiing, scheduled for Dec. 10-12, is now open.nOrganizers are hoping to exceed last year’s funds raised for the Centre de cancérologie Charles-Bruneau Foundation, the Ottawa Senators Foundation and Tremblant Foundation, which totaled more than C$1.5 million. All three charities support children with illness.
Money is raised in this skiing marathon by teams and individuals who rack up vertical on Tremblant’s slopes for 24 hours straight. There’s a festive atmosphere in the resort throughout all three days of the event with all kinds of free concerts to create an exciting vibe at the base of the slopes to cheer on participants. Following the leadership of Pierre Rodrigue, honorary president of the event and president of Astral Media Radio, a number of personalities join in to help the cause including former World Cup competitor Mélanie Turgeon.
