BASE Triple Comp Saturday at Treble Cone

Lake Wanaka, New Zealand – The BASE Triple Comp returns this Saturday to challenge skiers and snowboarders to three events in one day and crown the Kings and Queens of the mountain at Treble Cone.nThe day kicks off with the POW Banked Slalom in the Saddle Basin with a course designed to test speed and precision of the athletes. There’s likely to be some spills and thrills as the competitors jostle for the top placings. This is followed by the Bern Expression Session testing the skiers and boarders and their creativity over a section of natural terrain.

The afternoon event shifts the focus to the Saddle Air for the Rossignol Big Air competition with athletes expected to go all out with their best mid-air moves, with music spinning from guest MCs.

All skiers and boarders, male and female, will compete on the same courses and on the same Big Air jump. The best run or score for each event will count.
