Calgary (AB), Canada – Alpine Canada Alpin’s (ACA) volunteer website, a one-stop shop for volunteer recruitment for domestic ski races in Canada, has officially been launched for the 2010-11 season. The launch marks ACA’s search for the more than 1,000 volunteers required to execute national-level ski races in Canada this season.n“We started using online volunteer registration last season in order to simplify the process on volunteering and we were very pleased by the volunteer recruitment that resulted,” said ACA Director of National Programs and Race Events, Philippe Bernier. “We are focused on continuing to grow the volunteer database in order to provide our athletes with the safest and fairest competition venues and volunteers play an essential role in that goal.”

For the first time ever, volunteers can now register online for ski cross races in Canada along with alpine and para-alpine competitions.
