Ryanair Launches Low Cost Flights to Bulgaria for Ski Season

London, UK – Ireland’s discount airline, Ryanair, today celebrated its inaugural flight from London Stansted to Plovdiv, Ryanair’s first Bulgarian route. The flights provide easy access for Britons to the ski slopes of Bansko and Pamporovo. To celebrate, at midnight tonight Ryanair will release 1 million £6 seats for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in December and January.nThese “all in” low fares that include all taxes and charges will be available on over 500 of Ryanair’s European routes but must be booked on www.ryanair.com before midnight this Thursday.

“Ryanair is delighted to celebrate the start of our first Bulgarian route from London Stansted to Plovdiv. This new service will operate twice-weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays with fares from only £17.99 one way inclusive of taxes,” explains Ryanair’s Laura McCormack. “Plovdiv is Bulgaria’s second-largest city with a rich and varied history dating back 8,000 years. Plovdiv makes a great city break destination and is also within easy access of the ski resorts of Bansko and Pamporovo.”
