Both Miracle Mile (Chair 1) and Bear Bottom Beginner Area (Chair 8) are open at Snow Summit, plus a few terrain features on Bear Bottom run.

“We had some favorable snowmaking conditions (last) week enabling us to go ahead and give the green light to opening Snow Summit on Saturday,” said Chris Riddle, Director of Marketing for Big Bear Mountain Resorts. “After what has been a very long summer, everyone’s ready to hit the slopes.”

Mountain High is offering nine terrain features on open beginner and intermediate terrain comprised of four runs serviced by the Blue Ridge Express and Coyote lifts.
