Families of Deployed Vermont Guardsmen to Receive Free Sugarbush Season Passes

Warren, VT – Win Smith, President of Sugarbush Resort, announced over the weekend that the Vermont ski and snowboard resort will again offer free 2010-11 All Mountain season passes to the spouses and children of the Vermont National Guard’s men and women deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan.n”We recognize the sacrifices these families continue to make on behalf of our country,” said Smith. “We hope that a free season pass to Sugarbush will bring some joy and laughter into their lives. There’s nothing like getting outside on a winter day, snapping on your skis, and taking a few runs — it’s guaranteed to make you smile.”

This is the second season that Sugarbush has extended its offer to Vermont National Guardsmen and women. Several other ski resorts have recently followed suit, extending similar benefits to serving families.

“I’m very pleased to see other resorts following our lead on this. It’s a great show of support from the industry,” Smith added.
