Park City Telemark is presenting a one-day telemark event on Saturday, January 21st, at The Canyons Resort. This brand new event is the only one-day telemark clinic in the Park City area this season.

The ?Wasatch Back Tele Tune-Up? men?s and women?s day clinic will have groups for all ages and abilities: there will groups for ?never-evers? to expert telemark skiers.

Cost is $75 for those with a pass to The Canyons, $100 for those that require a day pass. Space is limited to 50 participants, so sign up early. Online registration is available at http://www.wasatchtelemark.org. For more information, contact Jaimie Atlas, event organizer, at (435) 640-1042.

Separate groups are planned for beginners, intermediates, and advanced. There are plans for specialized clinics that focus on steep terrain, moguls, and telemark skiing in the terrain park. All coaches are PSIA certified and drawn from local resorts.

The Tele Tune-Up is co-sponsored by White Pine Touring and FreeRide Magazine. Gear sponsors include Voilé USA (telemark skis and bindings), ScottyBob?s Telemark Skis, Kühl Clothing, Fly Low Telemark clothing, and Skeletools pads.

They are a division of US Telemark, and are working with Wasatch Telemark to organize and promote telemark events and programs at the Park City resorts.
