3/13 Sunday River (awful)

Went up to Sunday River on Saturday. It ranked among the worst skiing in my 20-year history in New England. The wind was howling around 30 mph and most peak chairs were on wind hold until about 11am.
Went over to Jordan Bowl via North Peak. The wind was so strong on the traverses that I was blown back uphill. In fact, the wind blew off most of the loose granular stuff so that solid blue ice was exposed. I felt very bad for any beginners. They must hate skiing/riding after that experience.
Jordan Bowl was just somewhat skiiable, and I'm a pretty advanced rider. I stuck close to the sides of the trails to find whatever loose granular was left.
Ended the day with 1 run on Barker Peak. It was also tolerable, but definitely not fun as I didn't feeling like sliding into trees.

This was one of the rare days where I wished I got a refund. Oh well. C'est la vie!
